Takes his wings and flies away~

A drawing of Sasabuchi Hiroshi from the band Plastic Tree.
Because he's leaving the band. Really a huge shock but I hope he had a good reason and can continue a happy life.
I really hope Plastic Tree will find a new awesome drummer and can continue with full spirit.

To bad this drawing totally failed. I'm really happy I scanned it when I was done with him and started with the background... because that failed so much... ugh why do I fail all the time ;3; I try to fill the background with some real red thread and cloth golden stars.

His mask is also done with gold and silver colourpencils... but you don't see that ;3;

The mask is really beautiful and the concept of this pic is really pretty, too.
What do I dislike is the rough shading..

it's beautiful but i think the hair a bit messy^^ and one thing that i love for sure is your idea to put the star on it and i don't think it's fail^^ great job!!!

Ik vind de achtergrond juist heel erg tof. Toen ik de thump zag waren de twee dingen die me het meeste op vielen, de achtergrond en het masker.

I really like that pose of his and the butterfly looks so amazing. I really like the way you use different tools for your works (like the string and fabric), it gives your art an extremely unique feel. :clap: :love:

And don't worry about the failing part; everyone fails time to time. And that's a good thing if you ask me, because an artist can grow only by failing time to time and learning from it. I fail all the time and I like that; at least I'm learning new things. :)

It's nice, I love the way you drew the mask. n_n
Also, the eye looks good, I like it.
Although maybe the skin should be a little brighter.

You ARE DEFENITLY NOT!! failing... you are just learning :) And i don't think this is srewed up.. I love it just the way it is^^ I indeed think a background isn't neccessary(howeveryou spell itXD) but i don't know what you tried as a bckground... Keep rocking cause the drawing is awesome^^ :heart:
